How to Earn a Badge
Each time you earn a badge you will receive on non-uniform day bracelet. To be eligible you must first register at classroom badges by clicking on your team name below and signup using your team registration code. Your team registration code is located next to your team name. To register you must use your school e-mail address, computer password (mo/da/yrFl) and your team registration code. You will need to write down your team registration code before you leave this page to register. To learn more about how your portfolio works watch the video on the right hand side of the screen. Please check “Class Badges” daily to see if you have earned a badge for a non-uniform day. Students may redeem a badge for a bracelet on Tuesday mornings. Tuesdays will be the only day to redeem your badge for a non-uniform day bracelet. Please see Mrs. Keitel in the office to receive your bracelet.

To earn a Bridge Thinking Map Badge you will need to read pages 45 through 50 of your "Thinking Maps for Kids" iBook. Earn A Financial Literacy Badge
Take a Pennies to Paychecks vocabulary quiz and earn a non-uniform day Financial Literacy Badge. This opportunity will close on December 4, 2015. To earn a badge you will need to score at or above 70%. To know if you have won a badge check you individual classroom badge portfolio one week after the closing date of December 4. Earn A Concert Badge
To earn a concert badge you will need to answer 5 out of the five questions correctly. The concert badge is valued at one non-uniform day and can be redeemed in the office any time during the school year. Click Here to Enter |
Earn a 7th Grade Coding Badge
Seventh grade students at Dodge City Middle School participated in the "Hour of Code" campaign encouraging millions of students to devote an hour to coding. The Hour of Code sponsored by Code.org was launched in 2013 offering online student opportunities in coding. The purpose for the project is to expand student and school participation in computer science to overcome a shortage of qualified computer engineers and developers. DCMS students who participated in the project have an opportunity to earn a best coding project badge. |

Earn A Positive Referral Rock Star Badge
Positive Referrals are given at by staff members to students in recognition of any type of positive behavior. Students are often recognized for a kind act, helping out a teacher or classmate, or improvement in grades or behavior. You must have been selected by drawing to earn a non-uniform day and a badge. |
