personal learning networks
Periodically throughout the school year teachers will be provided time to explore and construct their personal learning environment. These times will occur on Tuesday's and will be a combination of team collaboration share outs, and individual course selection using a variety of online learning resources.
Teachers participating in online courses, team in services, or in the project based pilot project will need to complete an online learning review form to evaluate and share their professional learning goals. The online learning resources will be tied to iTunes U along with links to professional learning websites. Professional development resource links provided below will hopefully grow overtime as teachers explore, review and make recommendations for additional courses. When visiting iTunes U, you can easily search, download, and play audio and video content, with accessible PDF transcripts of the many teaching and learning resources also available. You can download lectures, interviews, and podcasts that can be played on your computer or any other mobile device of choice, encouraging the practice of learning to be free from the constraints of time or place. |
